George R. Eleazer III
George R. Eleazer III has been teaching dance for 19 years and directing for 16 years. He has studied dance since age seven at many prominent schools, including Stage Door School of Dance, Vic D’Amore, South Shore School of Dance, Inspirations Dance Academy, Broadway Dance Center in NYC, and Millennium Dance Complex in LA. George has studied acting lessons from age 10 through adult. Through his well-rounded dance and theater education, George’s passion for being on stage was proven through his many successes.
George’s accolades include being named undefeated first overall soloist for three consecutive years, and winning titles such as Dancer of the Year at the American Dance Awards, Mister Onstage America, Mr. Starbound, Mr. Starpower, Hall of Fame Dance Inductee, and Mr. KAR (Kids Artistic Review). In addition, George holds the NYS Pageant Title winner from ages 7 through 11 for Most Photogenic.
George’s success opened the door for numerous professional performance opportunities. He performed at Radio City for two seasons as a male dancer in the Christmas Spectacular. As a child, George’s theater and television roles included playing “Gabriel” in the national tour of Shenandoah, “backyard gang” member in Barney the Purple Dinosaur, Mary Poppins, Zebby Zoo, and a host of roles at the Gateway Playhouse in Bellport.
You have seen George’s innovative and creative choreography all over the United States for varying artists, teams, and events including Madison Square Garden at half time for the New York Knicks, singer Matisse opening the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles, Chelley “I Took the Night” tour, Hofstra University Dance Team, Oregon State University, Stony Brook University, Scranton University, LIU Post, Bellport High School, Party 105 MegaJam featuring Justin Bieber and Sean Kingston, Push Play boy band, Out Music Awards, Ben Vereen Tribute at Carnegie Hall, and the Freestyle Explosion featuring Quad City DJs. His choreography has garnered him nationwide and international recognition, resulting in many opportunities to teach master classes, including Spotlight in Maryland and the Inferno Dance Convention to name a few. In addition, George’s imaginative and inspired choreography has secured a myriad of award-winning regional, national, and international titles with Royalenova and many dance studios across the US and Canada.
Building on his education, successes, and professional performance opportunities, George’s love for teaching dance and choreographing led him to open Royalenova. He shares his love of dance with his students and continually encourages and inspires them to express themselves through dance. He has provided exciting, real-world opportunities for his dancers through performances at Radio City, Madison Square Garden, Out Music Awards, Party 105.3 MegaJam, Freestyle Explosion, NYC Pride Parade, and Walt Disney World to name a few.
