About
Ballet/Tap/Jazz/Hip Hop – Our "unique" combo program for dancers who have taken tap and ballet combo but may be interested in other disciplines of dance. This program focuses on the technique of tap and ballet, while introducing hip hop and musical theater to broaden our dancers’ pallets. Students will learn basic fundamentals in all four disciplines, concentrating on technique, terminology, and classroom etiquette. These dancers will perform two routines in the recital. Genres performed will be determined by teacher in the fall.
Dress Code
Girls are required to wear pink ballet slippers, tan “tyette” tap shoes, black and white converse low tops (designated for class and recital only), pink or tan tights, and a leotard any color. Hair should be in a bun and a dance skirt is optional. Boys are required to wear a white T-Shirt, comfortable black shorts or pants, black ballet slippers, white, low top sneakers and black lace up tap shoes.
